If you and your partner are struggling to have a baby, you are not alone.

Infertility is defined as not being able to get pregnant despite trying for at least a year for most couples. It may result from an issue with either you or your partner, or a combination of factors that prevent pregnancy.

If you’re having trouble getting pregnant, our doctor will help you figure out why, and will work with you to find a treatment that can help. We offer a comprehensive and innovative range of infertility treatment solutions.

What causes female infertility?

There are a number of factors that may be keeping you from getting pregnant:

  • Damage or blockage of your fallopian tubes
  • Hormonal problems
  • Ovulation disorders
  • Uterine or cervical abnormalities
  • Endometriosis
  • Early menopause
  • Pelvic adhesions
  • Cancer and its treatment
How do you know you are at risk?

Age: Women’s fertility declines with age, especially in the mid-30s, and it drops rapidly after age 37.

Tobacco intake or alcohol usage: Miscarriages are more frequent in women who smoke or drink.

Being overweight or underweight: An inactive lifestyle and being overweight, having eating disorders, or a restrictive diet may increase the risk of infertility.

Exercise issues. A lack of exercise contributes to obesity. Ovulation problems may also be associated with frequent and strenuous or intensive exercise.
